Who we are
Ten Points Education Limited provides schools with a platform to manage behaviour, wellbeing, and analytics.
We process some teacher and staff data as part of this service.
What information do we hold?
On your school’s instructions, we may process:
- Teacher information – name, display name, class assignments, analytics, gender, photos (if uploaded).
- System information – login credentials, activity logs, access records, audit trails.
We do not process:
- Payment or financial information.
- Parent/guardian personal data.
How do we keep data safe?
- All data is encrypted when stored and transmitted.
- Only the minimum staff required for support have access, and all access is logged.
- Staff at Ten Points complete annual privacy and cybersecurity training and pass DBS Basic Checks.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- We never train AI on your personal data unless the school has explicitly authorised it.
- Any AI features are transparent, limited to their educational purpose, and overseen by our Data Protection Officer.
How long do we keep data?
- Your data is retained only as long as your school uses Ten Points.
- Once a school ends its contract, data is securely deleted or returned.
What are your rights?
Teachers and staff can ask their school (the Data Controller) to:
- See what data is held about them.
- Correct inaccuracies.
- Request deletion of their data.
- Object to certain processing.
We support schools in handling these requests.
